Register for the Brooksie Way Training Program

Looking for a fun, healthy way to prepare for a half marathon, 10k or 5k?  How about weekly training meetings from May through September that will encourage you to get in shape and establish new healthier habits. 

The Brooksie Way has a proven method of establishing groups of runners and walkers with similar paces and abilities.  Each group is led by trained group leaders following an established calendar. 

Groups are available for all levels of abilities from experienced marathoners to first time walkers or runners.  With proper training and support - you can complete a half marathon, 10k or 5k – all while having fun.

I know that participating in the Brooksie Way Training Program is potentially hazardous, and I should not participate unless I am in proper physical condition. I agree to abide by any decision of a program of cial about my participation in the program. I assume all risks associated with participation in the program, including the negligence of agents, sponsors, or employees of The Brooksie Way, Oakland County, and other program participants, the effect of the weather, traf c and road/sidewalk/trail conditions, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. In
consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and my heirs, successors and representitives, release the booksie way, Oakland County, all sponsors, as well as agents or employees of the foregoing and any volunteer or group associated with this program from all claims for injury, statement, or any other record of the program gathered in connection with my participation in this program for any lawful purpose.

By entering my name below, I affirm that I have read and agree to the waivers and acknowledgements listed and checked above. Further, I am an athlete over 18 years of age, or the parent/legal guardian of minor under 18 years of age, or legal guardian of incapacitated and/or mentally challenged person.
